Do I depend too much on cliches?
Over using cliches is like typing an email in ALL CAPS or writing a letter and having an exclamation point at the end of all your sentences!!!!!!!!!! My nickname early in my career was "Quote-a-matic". I used to use cliches and quotes at every opportunity. Now I use them as the icing on the cake and not the cake itself. I have found that the stories of life drive home the point much stronger than cliches and quotes.
