If needed, how would you reduce your standard of living?
First, I would sit down with the poor man's spreadsheet, a legal pad, and priortize all bills from 1 to the end. At the top would be my tithe because it should always be the first item on your budget. All hard costs, house, food, utilities would follow. I would eliminate the bottom of the list, cell phone, subscriptions, eating out, etc. If that wasn't enough, I would then downsize in vehicle, and lastly in house if so needed.
