How do I deal with a person of great influence leaving my life?

Once I depended on a friend's relationship with God for my relationship. One day he told me to get off his spiritual back and develop my own strength. Possibly this person feels that you are leaning too much when you should be learning to stand up. Write down the values you have been taught and review them until they become reflex. Remember, any healthy relationship has to be mutual. And so there must be a compromise as to the level where it can be profitable for both of you. If you are trying to maintain a different level than the other person this won't work and will become a real liability.
