Dear Fred
What have you found are the important qualities of leadership?
Fred's Response
Leadership is made up of ingredients and differs with the person and the situation. For example when you make corn bread you use different ingredients then biscuits. There are a few desirable qualities such as character, intelligence, vision, empathy, enthusiasm and persistence. In a large organization it is important to be able to pick the right oligarchy. Christ chose three disciples to be special in His leadership. Remember Churchill was magnificent in war but unsuccessful in peace. Often times a leader is for the times in which he or she operates. Often a group leader would not make a leader of the organization. The first player in a section of the orchestra could not be the conductor. Being at the top of any organization is often a lonely spot.
