Dear Fred, I have been tremendously blessed by your books and your web site. Thank you! I come from a Muslim background from a Middle East country and was missionary to Muslims to my birth country for five years ver the Internet full time and was very successful for five years. I felt that the Lord was calling me for pastoral ministry and I left the ministry but now, I found myself in big company on IT field because I started enjoying my work here. I could see my skills power and usefulness to a company. Though I have skills to use in IT field where I make my money and live yet, my heart always yearns for people of God and supporting, feeding, encouraging and helping them to grow - not particularly non-Christians but Christians. I can't bring myself to the steps towards a call. My thoughts change quite quickly and I fear committing myself to one set of course and later realizing that it's a wrong course of life. This keeps me from taking steps and full commitment. I recently found out James 1:5-8 "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind" which led me to more desperation of directionless. Would you be able to help me to find out what's going on?

Even though working fulltime you still have many hours of leisure in which you can be useful in the thing you enjoy most – ministering to Christians. This, also, will bring you into contact with other Christians. As Oswald Chambers says, “When we are making an effort to do God’s will, we are doing it.” Be careful that you don’t think that there is only one right choice. In life we may have a series of choices. There are many areas of service in the Kingdom. Find the one that is open to you right now. It may not be exactly what you would like, but you will still be promoting the Kingdom. Bless.
